Super Firm, Super People, Super Lawyers

Three attorneys at Johnson/Turner Legal have just been recognized by Super Lawyers, the attorney rating service. This year’s award-winners include:

Erin Turner, named a 2016 Super Lawyer in Minnesota. Erin was also a 2015 honoree. The Super Lawyer award uses a patented process to identify attorneys who receive high scores in carefully evaluated categories such as peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5% of the attorneys in Minnesota are identified as Super Lawyers.

Karolina Hoerl and Eric Parker have been named 2016 Minnesota Rising Stars. This is Karolina’s second year in a row receiving this award. Rising Stars go through the same nomination and evaluation process as Super Lawyers, but the category is restricted to attorneys who are under 40 or who have been practicing law fewer than 10 years. The recognition goes to only 2.5% of attorneys statewide.

For both awards, lawyers must be nominated by someone else, then show impressive performance in 12 indicators of their achievement and recognition, including Representative Clients, Verdicts and Settlements, Scholarly Lectures or Writing, Pro Bono and Community Service, and a number of other categories that make for passionate, smart, committed… well, just plain super lawyers.

The awards aren’t a surprise to us, of course; clients and colleagues of all three attorneys have long recognized that they are indeed super, but it’s nice to have that kind of recognition from an objective, outside source as well. Congratulations to Erin, Karolina, and Eric!Super Lawyers badges for Karolina Hoerl, Eric R. Parker, Erin K. Turner
