Eric asks his clients to talk to him like they are friends – and he means it. He’s clever and pragmatic, but a bit unconventional, too: he once held a meeting while out for a drive with a client because it was the only way to calm her baby. He’s skillful and innovative with the law, having successfully handled some uniquely complicated family law disputes.
Eric volunteers with the Resource Center for Fathers and Families and Father’s First. He also serves on committees for his church and other community organizations. Professional Associations and Memberships include: Minnesota State Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, Ramsey County Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association.
Eric has been named to the 2016-2021 Minnesota Rising Stars lists and U.S. News’, and has been named to the Best Lawyers list in 2021,2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
