Lace up your running shoes and get your appetites ready. For the seventh year in a row, Johnson/Turner Legal is sponsoring a 5K and Kids 1K to raise awareness and funds for the Lakes Center for Youth and Families (formerly known as the Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau). After you cross the finish line in beautiful Lakeside Park, enjoy a delicious, complimentary gourmet breakfast sponsored by Fairview.
About the Cause
The Lakes Center for Youth and Families, serves families and at-risk youth in the Forest Lake School District, Chisago County, and Anoka County. The organization was founded in 1976 to prevent first-time juvenile offenders from continuing down a destructive path. Over the past four decades, the Center’s mission and programming have evolved to include youth enrichment and leadership training, early interventions, and family support.

All participants will receive a gift bag containing coupons and merchandise from our local supporters. First 20 finishers of the adult race will receive a $5 coupon and a chance to win $100 gift certificate from Ernie’s Eatery.

Strollers and walkers are permitted in the 5K. The Kids 1K is a loop around the park, so participants will always be visible.
